Junior Golf Academy

Broadlees Junior Golf Academy

Broadlees Junior Golf Academy was established in 2007 with the help of a financial grant from the National Lottery ‘Awards for All’ and the help of the owners of Broadlees Golf Driving Range and Golf Course.

The aims of the Academy are to provide and promote a healthy lifestyle in the outdoor sport of golf by participating in a physical activity that allows children to express themselves and increase their self-esteem and confidence.

To achieve these aims the Academy works in partnership with a number of parties such as South Lanarkshire Leisure, local Golf Clubs, East Kilbride and District Sports Council and clubgolf the National Junior Golf Strategy for golf in Scotland

The Academy engages qualified PGA Professional level 3 coaches and all are Disclosure Scotland checked and all hold Child Protection certificates.

The Academy offers a comprehensive and progressive structured programme and where possible, we endeavour to try and remove financial barriers for children/families taking up the game of golf, by offering subsidised use of the facility, coaching staff and equipment to children who are part of the Academy programme.
